Job Title:
Student Worker, Support Staff

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Data Entry
  2. Document Imaging Quality Control
  3. Occasional Telephone Coverage
  4. Special Projects (typically computer applications)

Qualifications:

  1. Excellent computer skills.  Familiarity with Microsoft Office 2003 is required, and knowledge of Office 2007 is preferred.
  2. Strong typing and 10-key skills.  Must be able to move quickly through data entry projects.
  3. Outgoing and personable telephone skills.
  4. Flexibility.  Must be able to prioritize duties and change those priorities seamlessly when necessary.
  5. Availability.  It is best if the class schedule allows for work in at least two-hour time blocks.
  6. Professional appearance.  Dress casual is preferred.
  7. Priority will be given to students who are eligible for work study.
Length of Employment:
Fall and spring terms with option for May and summer.  May be renewed yearly.

Hours per Week::
12-20 hours for Fall and Spring terms
30-40 hours for May term and Summer
