Purpose of Job:
To assist the Director of Marketing in meeting the photographic needs of the Marketing Department.
Responsibilities
- Setting up photo shoots for still, action, portrait, & product photography for use in publications and advertisements.
- Preparing and maintaining a comprehensive photo library.
- Assist in gathering information needed from the client for photographic needs for individual projects.
- Scanning and implementing photo work for use in print media and web media.
- Other related duties as assigned by the University Art Director or Marketing Director
Qualifications:
- A born-again Christian.
- High school diploma. Some college preferred
- Macintosh computer & scanning skills
- Good language skills
- Able to demonstrate skills in meeting with and understanding client needs.
- Talented planner, organizer and communicator.
- In general accord with the doctrine and discipline of the Wesleyan Church
Length of Employment:Approximately 10-15 hours per week during the school year. This is for a fall position.
Supervisor: University Art Director
Compensation: Internship Stipend, Work Study, or Student Hourly Wage
