Journey to Success is a peer mentoring program designed to assist incoming freshman living in North Hall Complex East and South Hall Complex East with the transition from high school to college. Each student assigned to live in NHC East or SHC East is matched with an upperclassmen peer mentor (a.k.a. Journey Mentor) who resides in NHC West or SHC West.
The Journey Mentor will not only serve as a guide, resource, big brother/sister, and friend throughout the first year of college, but will also help with growth in character, scholarship and leadership. This unique living option provides first-year students the opportunity to live among fellow freshman adjusting to college life as well as gain the helpful advice and experience of a trained upperclassmen peer mentor who lives right across the lobby!
